At Mimo, we’re looking for a Software Quality Assurance Specialist with a focus on mobile and user experiences to assess software quality through manual and automated testing, specifically for the Latin American market. As such, you will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs, glitches, and usability issues.
In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. If you’re also competent in executing test cases and are passionate about quality, we’d like to meet you.
Ultimately, you will ensure that our product works correctly.
Review and analyze system specifications
Collaborate with developers and product designers to develop effective strategies and test plans
Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
Evaluate product features according to specification
Evaluate product features and usability with special attention to the Latin American market
Create logs to document testing phases and defects
Report bugs and errors to development teams
Help troubleshoot issues
Identify grammar mistakes and typos in the product
Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
We think that it'll be important for you to
Have proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
Have experience in project management and quality assurance methodology
Be familiar with agile frameworks and regression testing
Be able to document and troubleshoot errors
Have working knowledge of test management software (e.g. qTest, Zephyr) and SQL
Have excellent communication skills
Show attention to detail
Have analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
Show strong organizational skills
Have experience with Clubhouse, Jira, or similar project management tools
Have experience with functionality, Visual Design, UX design, UI, and copywriting
Be a pro-active and creative tester in finding new ways to stymie our products and as a result, create a more rigorous testing procedure
Be fluent in Spanish and English
Basic German fluency is a plus
Based on your experience, you can expect competitive compensation between €38,500 and €65,000 as well as shares in the company.
